Art develops 21st-century skills like problem solving, collaboration, communication and life-long learning.
STE-Art-M (Science, Technology, Engineering, ART, Math) sessions cover the visual arts components of color, form, line, shape texture, and value. They may be two-or three-dimensional, descriptive, implied, or abstract. Participants will be guided to apply creative problem solving processes to other core areas, such as science, social studies, math, and literacy. Participants will be encouraged to work in cooperative, multi-aged groups to research, create, revise and competently present their explorations.
Cost: $130 per participant for each 1 week session, payable in advance. Plus materials fees of $30 per applicant.
