This is a method which recognizes that the trained, practiced, stimulated brain is also more efficient at new learning. If we develop the building blocks of visual perception, visual spatial organization and visual discrimination by learning to draw, our brains cannot help but transfer these skills to such tasks as mathematics, reading and spelling, which require visual attention to detail as well as pattern and organization. This is a universal, systematic way to stimulate the normal human response of drawing, which speaks volumes without words. ...are classes and workshops that are many and available upon request for a series or onetime event. "I am a sculptor, who also enjoys painting and drawing. I am not tied to any particular medium, and I thrive in experimenting and blending many materials. I am interested in forms, surfaces, visual metaphors and the emotional responses that my art work evokes. I particularly enjoy teaching art and using these processes both as forms as self-expression and as a means to heal oneself. " Archives
